TINA CARVALHO

Tina is a Registered Architect with the Architects Board of WA. She has built 20 years of wide-ranging design expertise working with major architectural consultants in Perth and Melbourne. Her career includes a stint as an architect with the British Garrison, Brunei. Tina established Carvalho Design Solutions (CDS) in 2012 to bring unique customised solutions to her clientele by drawing on her wealth of experience. Tina is focussed on accelerated design delivery methods without compromising on aesthetics and quality. She drives the practice’s 3D BIM design. Tina’s passion is sustainability, ensuring that design strategies minimise humanity's impact on the environment.  

 Liz is a Design Principal with over 20 years’ experience in institutional, commercial, and residential architecture and interior design projects. Armed with an architectural degree (B.Arch.) from the University of Tasmania in Launceston, she became a Registered Architect with the Board of Architects in Malaysia. She ran her own practice, Liz Thomas Architect, before her transition to Perth. She is brief-focussed to ensure that client’s expectations are met or exceeded, whilst ensuring flexibility is maintained to incorporate good design strategies and cost and time-saving measures. She also brings an inclusive working style to build winning outcomes for all stakeholders. 

 Chris is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia. He brings to CDS over 30 years of experience in engineering design and operations with major O&G conglomerates such as SHELL and WOODSIDE ENERGY In Asia and Australia. Chris joined CDS in 2016 and has established game changing design documentation and project management processes that enhance CDS’ accelerated ability to respond to design development and change requirements, and coordination of consultants, suppliers, and contractors. Chris also brings unique engineering perspective to the architectural design from the start of the project.
