BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM)
CDS has been using Autodesk Revit since 2014 to design, build and operate projects more efficiently for our clients, irrespective of the size of the project. Starting from 2D sketches, CDS aims to use BIM to convey to our Clients a better understanding of the architect’s vision and design intent for a project.
Our team members develop intelligent object-based parametric 3D models to a high level of detail (LOD) – LOD200 for Concept Design and LOD300 to LOD350 for Detailed Design. We use the 3D modelling during project meetings to demonstrate design progress and to discuss interface issues with consultants and contractors.
While continuing to develop the full potential of BIM, our team also specializes in AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop and Sketch Up, allowing several types of deliverables to assist the design process and for the best outcome for a project.
